Varedo – ex SNIA
Urban regeneration project of a disused industrial complex, the former SNIA area, one of the largest industrial complexes in Lombardy, now abandoned.
The aim of the project is to give a new face to an area of 350,000 m2, creating a union between the ancient and the modern. In fact, alongside the new residential, commercial and logistical settlements, the most significant ones of the former industrial area will be preserved. In particular, all those buildings used in the past as thermoelectric power plants to house offices, production-craft activities, co-working spaces and much more will be preserved and restored.
Furthermore, there will be public spaces and an urban park with services for citizens.
